On Sunday, March 15, I am running in the UA NYC Half Marathon to raise money for LearningSpring School, where I am the Head Teacher of Oak Class. LearningSpring School for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum in grades K-8 is committed to advance the social, developmental and academic growth of its students through pioneering educational and therapeutic strategies in a order to prepare each child to participate in the wider community. I have been training with a goal of running 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 8 minutes. Our school has to raise 1.1 million annually so that our students get the education that they deserve.
