I am hosting a fundraiser for LearningSpring School, a not-for-profit K-8 grade school for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum, at which I am a member of the Board of Trustees.

There is a gap between what LearningSpring receives from the NYS Education Department/NYC Department of Education and the cost of educating each of our students. During this 2024-2025 school year, the funding gap is $13,453 per student. So in total, LearningSpring School is challenged to raise $1.1 million to meet the needs of our organization.

As an aunt of an alumni student, I have seen the impact the school has on its students firsthand. This place truly changes lives and provides our students and families with an environment where they will thrive.
